Watch A Baby Being Born

What? Birth is the emergence of a baby or other young from the body of its mother; the start of life as a physically separate being. When? March 2, 2014. Where? Sharp Chula Vista Hopsital. Why? My aunt was pregnant and really wanted me to be present for the birth of her third daughter. Review: To be honest, I thought it was going to be a lot more gross. I thought there would be more blood and guts, but it was definitely worth seeing once. We all came from that, and I feel like witnessing it, made me feel old. It made me realize how this young girl has a clean slate, she has the potential to be Anything, and even though I'm not 80 years old, I still felt like these 18 years have passed so quickly, I can't imagine having my own kids within a few years and knowing they will never know what I have seen or felt in my life, but they will experience those things for themselves in their own way. My mother and I were in the hospital with my aunt, and her boyfriend for 21 hours!! Worth the wait and no sleep!

First Rave

What? A rave is a large party or festival featuring performances by DJ's and occasionally live performers playing particularly electronic dance music. When? February 16, 2014. Where? San Diego Sports Arena. Why? I had been to a festival two years ago, and I really enjoyed it, but I wanted to attend a real rave. Review: I LOVED it! I went with my boyfriend, and we had one of the bet nights of our lives. We PLURed and it was such a unique experience. We already have plans to go to our next rave. We have started making kandi and thinking of who to invite so we can show all our friends!

First Time Cosmic Bowling

What? Cosmic bowling is similar to bowling, but the lights are out, play more recent/adult type music, and they have either disco balls or more recently, lasers. When? February 14, 2014. Where? Lake Forest Lanes. Why? My boyfriend and I got invited to go with another couple. Review: I have been bowling a lot, but this is a lot more fun. I love the cool music videos on the lanes and lasers. Its a good environment to hang with friends and just have a simple fun night.

Rent a Cabin in Big Bear

What? A cabin is a small shelter or house, made of wood and situated in a wild or remote area. When? January 17, 2014. Where? Big Bear, California. Why? I was invited for the last weekend of Winter Break to have one last celebration before school starting. Review: I've been to Big Bear for the day, but never stayed over night and I really loved it. No one really left the cabin, which was disappointing, but other than that, it was a lot of fun.

What? Murphy's Ranch is an abandoned Nazi Sympathizers Compound. When? January 15, 2014. Where? Los Angeles, California. Why? It looked really cool and its a part of American history hidden in a canyon. Review: It was a LONG hike! It felt good to get a good workout while also looking at cool building.

What? A place covered in trampolines, where people

do acrobatic or gymnastic exercises on a trampoline as a recreation or sport. When? Many times, but most recently January 11, 2013. Where? Costa Mesa, California. Why? It is so much fun and great exercise. Review: I love going here, it is always a blast. I've been five times, and would go again in a heartbeat, its just a little far. There is a closer place, but it doesn't compare to SkyHigh.

Go Bungee Jumping

What? Bungee Jumping is the sport of leaping from a height while secured by a long nylon-cased rubber band from the ankles or hips. When? Sunday, November 10, 2013. Where? Bridge to Nowhere, San Gabriel Mountains, CA. Why? I just turned 18! Review: It was such an amazing experience. Way scarier than skydiving. It is a MUST for any bucket lists!

Visit The Hollywood Sign

What? The Hollywood Sign is a landmark and American cultural icon. When? September 22, 2013. Where? Hollywood, CA. Why? Who wouldn't want to get a cool glimpse of the famous sign! Review: So my boyfriend and I went on this hike, and we started our way up to the sign, when we realized why not just go all the way to the top. Not until after the hike did we realize it is actually illegal to be too close to the sign. Well, it was a great experience, but I don't suggest going to touch the sign to anyone. (I am in the first picture, that's me under the O and the second is a view while being under the O)

Go Apple Picking

What? Fruit picking or fruit harvesting is a seasonal activity that occurs during harvest time in areas with fruit growing wild or being farmed in orchards. When? September 14, 2013. Where? Julian, California. Why? I have been strawberry picking, blueberry picking, and I wanted to try apple picking. Review: Such a cute place, and its cool to walk around and pick apples.

Go On The Orange Balloon

What? The Orange Balloon is a hot air balloon for passerby's to aboard and view the beautiful Irvine from a higher perspective. When? August 11, 2013. Where? Irvine, California. Why? Its a simple, cheap thing to do. Review: I've been multiple times, and I'd go again. I love the views of the mountains and cars. Its very relaxing!

Go To Victoria Beach

What? Well-known beach because of the famous lighthouse. When? August 1, 2013. Where? Victoria Beach, Laguna Beach, CA. Why? I love the beach and I heard good things about this place. Review: Super cool and pretty, with lots of tide pools, saw a few starfish, and I definitely think its a cool place to see sometime.

Go On A Cruise

What? A voyage on a ship or boat taken for pleasure or as a vacation and usually calling in at several places. When? July 26-29, 2013. Where? Ensenada, Mexico. Why? I have been on a day cruise, and on lots of trips to Catalina, but I've never been on a multiple day cruise over seas. Review: I really love traveling, if I could go everywhere I would, but on a cruise, I was a little disappointed. I love traveling because you get to experience another culture, but on a cruise, you don't get that opportunity. I had a great time, with wonderful people, but I don't know if I would go again anytime soon.

Go To The US Open

What? The U.S. Open of Surfing is a week-long surfing competition held annually during the summer in Huntington Beach, California.When? July 25, 2013. Where? Huntington Beach, California. Why? It is a popular spot for teenagers to hang out, listen to good music, get free stuff, see concerts, and surfing. Review: The US Open used to be a really fun place, I've gone for multiple years, but slowly throughout the years become more of a liability than a fun event. Kids come here to drink and smoke underage with their friends, and this past year caused a HUGE riot.

Visit The Sunken City

What? A beach point, where years ago a mudslide washed the streets right into the ocean, since then, people come by and graffiti. The Sunken City is a magical place of modern art and mother earth's beauty. When? July 21, 2013. Where? Sunken City, San Pedro, CA. Why? Beautiful views, such a unique place. Review: Gorgeous, but nothing really to do. Luckily, I went on a festival day and there was a concert in the park right next to it. There were little vendors selling jewelry or food, plus the music made it a lot of fun.

Go See The Korean Friendship Bell

What? The Korean Bell of Friendship is a massive bronze bell housed in a stone pavilion in Angel's Gate Park that was given to us as a gesture of friendship from Korea. When? July 21, 2013. Where? San Pedro, CA. Why? Because its part of American history. Review: It was good to see at least once in your life. Although it has super pretty views, there is not much to see besides the giant bell and beautiful ocean.

Beer Bong

What? A beer bong is a device composed of a funnel attached to a tube used to facilitate the rapid consumption of beer. When? June 30, 2013. Where? Spencer's House. Why? We had been drinking, it was a pool party, and it looked really fun! Review: Damn, its hard haha I needed a little practice.

Go To A Color Run

What? The Color Run is an event series and five kilometres paint race that is an untimed event with no winners or prizes, but runners are showered with colored powder at stations along the run. When? June 29, 2013. Where? Santa Ana Mountains. Why? I used to do awareness runs growing up, with my mother. This is a recently popular run that goes to a good cause and I knew I had to try it! Review: It was alright. I don't know if the one I went to was not as good as some of the others, but the location was awful!! One lane to get there and there was a motorcycle convention right next to us, so traffic was terrible and we were stuck in it for hours. Then, as we started to run the course, there was no more water at any of the stations. They had run out!! Luckily we had paint left, but apparently my friends who came later, said there was no paint left around 10am! Huge disappointment..
