Visit Eaton Canyon

What? Eaton Canyon is a major canyon with lots of trails. When?  February 6, 2011. Where? Pasadena, California. Why? I love the outdoors and hiking. Review: Such a beautiful hike, not much different than other hikes I've been to, but worth the hike!

 

 

Be In A Boat Parade

What? A boat parade is when multiple boats cruise around a lake, just as parade floats do on the streets, while families and people watch from a near by place. When? December 19, 2010. Where? Newport Beach, California. Why? My mom goes every year with her friends, so she invited me. Review: Since my first time in 2010, I have gone consecutively every Christmas since. I think its a lot of fun, with great people.

Go Paintballing

What?  Paintballing is shooting a capsule filled with water-soluble dye at another player in the game. When? August 14, 2010. Where? Corona, California. Why? Its a very fun, competitive game so I thought I would try it out. Review: Paintballs sting, but other than that, it was super fun!

Visit Harmony

What? Harmony is a little town in California. When? August 9th, 2010. Where? Harmony, California. Why? The population is 3 and its a tiny little exit off the freeway, you can easily miss it. It has no post-office, just two little shops. Review: So adorable, I've been there twice, but it is just a unique place.

 

Go To A Drive In Movie Theater

What? A drive-in theater is a form of cinema structure consisting of a large outdoor movie screen, customers can view movies from the privacy and comfort of their cars. When? August 8th, 2010. Where? San Luis Obispo, California. Why? Currently where I live, all the drive-in theaters were removed and the closest one is hours away. I really wanted to have this experience. Review: It was really fun, kind of weird. It would have been real fun, if we had brought a pick up truck with a place to sit, instead of sitting in your car.

El Ángel de la Independencia

What? El Ángel de la Independencia is a famous monument in Mexico because it was built to commemorate the centennial of the beginning of Mexico's War of Independence. When? August 1, 2010. Where? Downtown, Mexico City, Mexico. Why? It is a very historical monument and a big part of history for Mexico.

Parasailing

What? Parasailing is when a person glides through the air wearing an open parachute while being towed by a motorboat. When? July 26, 2010. Where? Cancun, Mexico and again in Veracruz, Mexico. Why? It looks so fun! Review: Don't even try to put this down as a "scary feat". Now I know I am an adrenaline junkie, but this is no where near scary. In fact, it was so relaxing. You got beautiful views and felt the ocean breeze touch your skin. Magic. (I went with my cousin, she's in the front and also with my dad).
