Shoot A Gun

What? The act of going to a shooting range to practice shooting an armed weapon. When? August 16, 2011. Where? Havasu, AZ. Why? I was on a trip with my boyfriend(at the time) and his family is really big into shooting, so I decided to give it a try. Review: It was really cool, I'm waiting to go again with my friends. I wouldn't do it everyday because it gets repetitive, but I would like to try other weapons.

Modeling

What? Work as a model by displaying clothes or posing for an artist, photographer, or sculptor. When? August 13, 2011. Where? San Francisco, Orange County, Sacramento. Why? I've always been told I should be a model, since I am very tall for an average woman and jut taller than all my friends. My mother only allowed me to pursue my modeling career a few times, she worried it would make me believe I could get through life jut using my looks, and she didn't allow me to accept a contract for Ford Robert Black Agency. Review: I love modeling, its definitely a passion of mine, but I don't know if I will pursue it ever in the future.

Scuba Diving

What? Scuba Diving is the sport or pastime of swimming underwater using scuba gear. When? August 9, 2011.  Where? Avalon, Catalina Island, CA. Why? I am terrified of the ocean floor, so why not overcome some fears. Review: This was my first time scuba diving of the coast of Catalina and I went in Avalon, but I have been snorkeling off the coast of Catalina three times before(Foxlanding [x2] and Cherry Cove). It was very cold, as usual, but it was a lot of fun, super cool, and a little scary.

Visit Catalina

What? Catalina is an island resort in the Pacific off the southwestern coast of California. When? August 8-10, 2011(for Avalon). Where? Cherry Cove, Foxlanding, and Avalon. Why? When I was in middle school, my school took fieldtrips to Catalina, where we stayed their for 3 days or a week, depending on our grade level. So when my mom mentioned going again, just us, I was super excited! Review: I love Catalina, it has a special place in my heart.
